For breakfast the choice is yours, from the full hearty Scottish with our own eggs, cooked  to  order, to  a  healthy fresh fruit, juices,  cereal, porridge and yoghurt option with  home-made marmalade, local honey, oat cakes and everything in-between.

Six comfortable ensuite bedrooms with beautiful views up Glenfeshie. Two twins, two doubles and two family (three with bath and shower) are cosy and  warm, individually decorated  with  old pine, cushions  and  soft  furnishings, and have tea and coffee trays and not a sound or street light in sight !  

With the backdrop of Craig Mhigeachaidh (the whispering mountain), on the western edge of the Cairngorm Nature Reserve, Inshriach Forest sheltering us from the north and Glenfeshie stretching far to the south, we are surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife and are often visited by deer, red squirrels and the occasional pine martin. Native pine forest birds including crested tits and crossbills also visit the garden.

From the house the paths for hill walking, mountain biking and in the winter cross country skiing are excellent and if you need a lift to make the round trip, we’re happy to help.

There  are  many  local  visitor  attractions  including The Highland Wildlife Park, The Folk Museum, Inshriach Alpine Nursery, Kincraig’s working sheepdogs,  RSPB reserves with unique birdwatching, Loch Insh watersports,  pony trekking,  gliding,  golf,  castles and distilleries.

Your  hosts  are  skiers,  hill  walkers  and  mountain  bikers  with  a sense of adventure, with plenty of local knowledge and we’ll do everything we  can to  help you enjoy your stay with  us  here in our very peaceful relaxing home in the Highlands.
