Tigh Tuithe means "house with a grass roof"

Totally secluded, but only 3 miles from village.  A self-catering unit (completely self-contained) attached to the main family home.  The house is built into the hillside and has a turf covered roof.  The accommodation is very comfortable and fully equipped.  Patio doors lead out to a beautiful trout burn.  Salmon come to spawn in the Autumn, otters are seen here, and 'weather permitting' we swim in summer.

This house is in one of the most stunning locations in Scotland.  We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife.  Roe Deer can be heard barking in the nearby forest, we see both roe and red deer frequently, and it is a mecca for bird-watchers.

It is also conveniently situated, Kingussie 7 miles south, Aviemore 7 miles north.  The village of Kincraig is 2.5 miles and boasts 3 excellent restaurants.  Other nearby facilities include gliding, watersports, riding, walking, golf, fishing, ski-ing and many more, or one can simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Accommodation consists of:
Two bedrooms, one double, one twin (cot available).
